Saudi Arabia to Host 2034 FIFA World Cup

Riyadh, December 12 (Arab Media): FIFA has chosen Saudi Arabia to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034. This will be the first time the country hosts the tournament. Matches will be played in 15 stadiums across five cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and Neom. Riyadh’s King Salman Stadium will host the opening and final matches.

2030 World Cup in Three Continents
The 2030 World Cup will be co-hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal. Some matches will also be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to celebrate the tournament’s 100th anniversary. The first World Cup was held in Uruguay in 1930.

New Records

Saudi Arabia will host the first 48-team World Cup in one country.
Morocco, Portugal, and Paraguay will host the tournament for the first time.

FIFA’s Goals
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the aim is to bring football to more countries and keep improving the game.
