Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Meets PM Modi, Discusses Development Projects

Hyderabad, 26 February – (www.deccanlive.com): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Delhi on Wednesday morning at the PM’s official residence.

During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy discussed various developmental issues related to Telangana and requested funds for several ongoing projects in the state.

He urged the Prime Minister to release pending funds and sought financial support for Metro Phase 2, airport expansion, beautification of Musi River, assistance for backward districts, and approval for key projects like ITIR, IIM, and the Regional Ring Road.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also raised the pending issues related to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to resolve them quickly.

During the meeting, PM Modi inquired about the SLBC tunnel accident. The Chief Minister informed him that rescue operations were ongoing to save the eight trapped workers.

He explained that water and mud accumulation were creating obstacles in the rescue efforts.

IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and DGP Jitender Reddy accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting.
