Telangana Government Allows Plot Registration Under LRS Without Link Documents

Hyderabad, 1 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The Telangana government has made a new decision to generate revenue through the Land Regularization Scheme (LRS). Now, open plots can be registered without link documents, and the LRS process will also be completed.

To facilitate this, a new “Pre-Registration Module” has been developed. This benefit will be available to both LRS 2020 applicants and new applicants.

The government has clarified that applications without link documents will be processed using this new module. Additionally, if 10% of plots in an unauthorized layout have already been sold, they will also be considered under this scheme.

Owners who obtained a sale deed on or before August 26, 2020, whether they applied for LRS (Land Regularization Scheme) or not, can now register their plots.

The government has also announced that LRS charges and open space charges will not be collected for these plots.

Since the MLC election code of conduct is in effect in some districts, this circular will only apply to Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Mahbubnagar districts.
