Trump and Zelensky’s Meeting Turns into Heated Argument

Washington, 1 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House took a dramatic turn, turning into a heated exchange. The two leaders blamed each other over the ongoing war with Russia, leading to an intense confrontation.

According to foreign news agencies, President Trump told Zelensky, “You cannot win this war, but because of us, you can get out of it. Without our military aid, this war would not have lasted more than two weeks.”

During the meeting, both leaders spoke in front of media representatives, but tensions escalated as Zelensky clashed with Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.

Trump confronted Zelensky, asking, “Have you ever once thanked America?”

Reports indicate that Zelensky requested more U.S. support against Russia, but Trump and Vice President Vance accused him of disrespecting the U.S. and warned that his actions could lead to World War III.

During the tense meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly tried to respond, but U.S. President Donald Trump refused to let him speak. At one point, Trump told Zelensky, “You talk too much,” while Vice President J.D. Vance called Zelensky’s words “highly inappropriate.”

Trump urged Zelensky to negotiate a deal with Russia, warning that Ukraine could lose U.S. support otherwise. “You have to make compromises,” Trump insisted.

However, Zelensky rejected any peace deal, calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer.” He emphasized that Russia had kidnapped over 30,000 children and civilians and stated, “We want our people back.”

Trump criticized Zelensky’s stance, warning that Ukraine would lose American support if a peace deal wasn’t reached. Meanwhile, Vice President Vance stressed the importance of a diplomatic solution.

According to foreign news agencies, the meeting was originally planned to finalize a mineral resources agreement between Ukraine and the U.S. However, due to the heated exchange, the joint press conference was canceled, and no deal was signed.
