Kidnapped Child Rescued Within 24 Hours from Telangana’s Nalgonda Government Hospital

Nalgonda, 8 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A 3-year-old boy who was kidnapped from Nalgonda Government Hospital on March 4 was safely rescued by Nalgonda Two-Town Police and reunited with his parents. District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar took this case as a challenge and guided the police team to solve it quickly.
According to the SP, a couple named Mohammad Ahmed and Shameem Unnisa live in the hospital premises with their two children – Alina (5 years old) and Rahman (3 years old). On March 4 at 4 PM, while the children were playing in the hospital premises, Rahman suddenly went missing. After searching nearby areas and finding no clue, the parents filed a complaint at the Nalgonda Two-Town Police Station.
After receiving the complaint, the police acted immediately and solved the case within 24 hours. SP Pawar formed six police teams to trace the child. Under the leadership of DSP K. Shivaram Reddy, CI Raghurav of Two-Town Police took charge of the investigation.
SI Nagaraj and his team analyzed CCTV footage from the hospital, which led to the identification of the kidnapper, Rapolu Sita Ramulu (40), a resident of Narketpally. The police rescued the child from the kidnapper and handed him over safely to his parents.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that his relative, Aruna, had three daughters but no son. To fulfill her wish, he kidnapped the child. The police arrested the accused, presented him in court, and sent him to judicial remand.
