Five Israeli Soldiers Injured in Hamas’ Attack in Gaza

Gaza, 13 July – (PIC): Once again, Gaza has turned into a battlefield for Israeli forces. On Saturday evening, the Israeli army confirmed that five of its soldiers were injured during clashes in northern and southern Gaza.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, these soldiers were hurt in three different battlefronts.

The attacks were jointly claimed by the Al-Qassam Brigades (the armed wing of Hamas) and Al-Quds Brigades (the armed wing of Islamic Jihad). These groups said they:

  • Targeted Israeli military vehicles
  • Carried out sniper attacks
  • Blocked Israeli advances with intense resistance

Despite Israel’s continued brutal actions against civilians in Gaza, Palestinian fighters are showing that they are ready to defend their land at any cost.

Last week, in a major operation in Beit Hanoun (northern Gaza), five Israeli soldiers were killed and 14 injured by Al-Qassam Brigades. Most of them were from the Netzah Yehuda Battalion. The attack happened during an ambush on Monday evening.

Earlier in June, Al-Qassam fighters also killed seven soldiers from Israel’s Engineering Battalion 605 by targeting two armored vehicles. Israeli media called it a “bloody day” for their army.

Palestinian resistance groups continue to fight for the freedom of their land, using sniper fire, explosives, and locally made weapons to halt Israel’s progress and inflict heavy losses.
