Daughter Kills Father with Help of Mother and Lover; Watched Movie After Murder
Hyderabad, 10 July – (www.deccanlive.com): In a shocking incident in Ghatkesar Mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, a daughter, along with her mother and lover, killed her father because he was against her illegal relationship. After committing the murder, all three went to watch a second show movie, and later dumped the body in a lake.
According to police officials, on 7 July, a body was found in Yedulabad lake. It had injury marks, so a case of suspicious death was registered. The deceased was identified as Vaddelur Lingam (45), a security guard living in Muggalabasti, Hyderabad.
His wife Sharada (40) and daughter Manisha (25) initially told police that Lingam was an alcoholic and often fought with people. They said he left home on 6 July and never returned. But police found their statements suspicious and checked CCTV footage near the lake.
It was revealed that Manisha, though married, had developed a relationship with her husband’s friend, Mohammad Javed (24). After this affair was discovered, her husband left her, and she started living with Javed in a rented house in Moulali.
Her father Lingam opposed the relationship and had multiple arguments with her. Her mother Sharada also complained that Lingam harassed her and doubted her character. Both mother and daughter planned to kill him.
On 5 July, Manisha gave her mother sleeping pills, which they mixed in Lingam’s alcohol. After he fell into deep sleep, Manisha, Javed, and Sharada suffocated him with a pillow and killed him.
After the murder, the trio went to watch a late-night movie. Later, they booked a cab and took the body with them. When placing the body in the vehicle, the driver got suspicious, but they told him Lingam was drunk and unconscious.
They finally threw the body into the lake at Yedulabad and fled. The police have now arrested all three accused and sent them to judicial custody.
