Gaza, 5 February – (PIC): The recent statement by U.S. President Donald Trump, alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a press conference in Washington, has sparked global outrage. Trump proposed a controversial plan to seize control of Gaza under the pretext of development and rehabilitation, along with resettling Palestinians in other countries.
Hamas’s Strong Response
The ruling party of Gaza, Hamas, issued a statement condemning Trump’s plan in the strongest terms, calling it a deliberate attempt to create chaos and tensions in the region.
Hamas spokesperson declared that Palestinians who have lived in Gaza for generations will never accept any plan that seeks to uproot them from their ancestral lands.
Focus on Ending Aggression
The statement emphasized the urgent need to end Israel’s illegal occupation, oppression, and aggression in Palestine, rather than devising plans to displace Palestinians from their homeland.
