Congress Leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan’s 18-Year-Old Son Commits Suicide in Patna

Patna, 3 February – A shocking incident has emerged from Bihar. Shakeel Ahmad Khan, a senior Congress leader, has lost his 18-year-old son to suicide in Patna. The news of his son’s death has left everyone stunned. The incident occurred in the Secretariat police station area, and the police have taken possession of the body.

According to some media reports, the body of Shakeel Ahmad Khan’s son was found at his father’s official residence. It is reported that the young man was found hanging in a room of the house. There is no clear explanation yet as to why the son of such a senior Congress leader took this extreme step. This tragic event has deeply affected the family.

Shakeel Ahmad Khan, a respected politician from Katihar district in Bihar, has always had a clean image. Following his son’s suicide, the police have started an investigation into the matter. Police officials arrived at the scene as soon as they were informed, and the forensic team also began their investigation.

The deceased’s name was Ayan, and he was approximately 18 years old. Shakeel Ahmad Khan also has a daughter who is studying law in England. Currently, MLA Shakeel Ahmad Khan is out of Bihar. Reports say that Ayan had gone to bed after having dinner on Sunday night (February 2). In the morning, his body was found hanging in his room.

Following the tragedy, former MP and Congress leader Pappu Yadav from Purnia expressed his condolences on social media.

Possibility of Pressure from Studies: Shah Nawaz Hussain’s Comment

After the incident, BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain also visited Shakeel Ahmad Khan’s residence. He said, “Shakeel Ahmad Khan is not here. His son has committed suicide. When the door of the room was broken open, the body was found. Ayan was studying. Everything seemed fine, but we don’t know why he took such a step. It could be due to the pressure from studies.”
