Father Dies at Daughter’s Wedding Ceremony – Tragic Incident in Telangana’s Kamareddy District
Kamareddy, 22 February – (www.deccanlive.com): A heartbreaking incident took place in Telangana’s Kamareddy district, where a father passed away due to a heart attack during his daughter’s wedding ceremony. The joyful celebration quickly turned into mourning. The incident occurred in Rameshwarapally village of Bhiknoor Mandal.
According to locals and relatives, 56-year-old Balchandram, a resident of Kamareddy, belonged to Rameshwarapally village. He was survived by his wife, Rajamani, and two daughters. Recently, he had arranged the marriage of his elder daughter, Kankama Lakshmi, with Raghavendra from Bengaluru. The wedding ceremony was held grandly on Friday at a function hall near Jangampally, attended by close relatives and friends.
During the wedding rituals, when the father performed the Kanyadaan (giving away the bride), he suddenly fell to the ground after feeling unwell. Relatives immediately rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had passed away due to a heart attack.
The function hall, which was filled with joy and celebrations, suddenly turned into a place of grief and mourning. The wedding ceremony was overshadowed by sorrow.
