Hamas Calls for Global Protests in Support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Against Israeli Crimes

Gaza, 26 March – (PIC): The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has called for worldwide protests and demonstrations in support of Gaza, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and Al-Aqsa Mosque and against Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas urged people to observe Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as Global Days of Rage to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and condemn Israeli war crimes at both the Muslim world and international levels.

Hamas called upon Palestinians and free people worldwide to intensify their activities, protests, and sit-ins. The movement also urged supporters to besiege Israeli embassies to expose Israeli war crimes and show support for Gaza. The protests should continue until Israel stops its genocidal war against Palestinians.

The statement emphasized that the coming days should be marked by anger and steadfastness against the Israeli occupation and its allies.

Earlier, Hamas had appealed to the international community to pressure Israel to stop the massacres, siege, and starvation of Palestinians. The movement called for full support for Gaza and Al-Aqsa and for exposing Israeli crimes and U.S. support for them.

Hamas also urged Palestinians inside and outside the country to hold massive protests on March 30, marking Land Day. These protests would reject displacement and land annexation policies while reaffirming the right of return and the struggle for freedom.
