Eid in Gaza: The Second Eid al-Fitr in a Devastated Land

Gaza, 30 March – (www.deccanlive.com): Since the start of Israeli aggression in October 2023, Gaza is witnessing its second Eid al-Fitr under devastating conditions.
Even on this joyous occasion, Israeli forces continued their brutal attacks, launching air and ground strikes on Khan Younis.
Palestinian residents expressed their sorrow, saying they cannot buy anything for their children due to limited job opportunities and the closure of crossing points, making their struggles even worse.
People in Gaza described their suffering, stating that life has become unbearable—some have food, while others are starving. “Only Allah knows what we are going through. We ask the world: Are we not human? Don’t our children deserve happiness like others?”
It is important to note that over 50,000 innocent Palestinians have been martyred in the ongoing brutal Israeli attacks. A large part of Gaza has been reduced to rubble, and millions of displaced people are forced to live in tents or in the ruins of bombed buildings.
