Hyderabad: Shocking Incident – Woman Jumps from Moving MMTS Train to Escape Attacker!

Hyderabad, 24 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A shocking incident took place on an MMTS train traveling from Secunderabad to Medchal, where a young woman was attacked. A man attempted to sexually assault her inside the train.

To escape from the attacker, the woman jumped off the moving train. She suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

The incident happened when the woman was traveling alone in the train near Kompally, Hyderabad. Seeing that no one else was in the compartment, the accused targeted her and tried to assault her. In an attempt to save herself, she jumped off the running train, resulting in severe injuries.

Local people noticed the injured woman and immediately took her to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad, where doctors are providing treatment. After receiving the information, GRP (Government Railway Police) reached the hospital, recorded the victim’s statement, and registered a case. The woman was identified as being from Anantapur district and was working in a private company in Medchal.

What Police Said:
According to the police, the woman was staying in a hostel in Medchal while working at a private company. On March 22 (Saturday) evening, she went to Medchal railway station and took an MMTS train to Secunderabad railway station. After getting her mobile phone repaired, she returned to the station and boarded another MMTS train to Medchal, choosing the women’s coach.

During the journey, two other women got off at Alwal railway station, leaving her alone in the compartment. At this point, a young man entered her coach and attempted to sexually assault her. In an attempt to escape, she jumped off the moving train, sustaining severe injuries.

The police have launched an investigation and are searching for the attacker.
