Islamic Intellectual Reconciliation Encyclopedia to Be Launched: Muslim World League

Makkah, 7 March – (www.deccanlive.com): Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shaibi, Chief Advisor of the Muslim World League, announced that the conference on “Building Bridges Between Islamic Sects,” held in Makkah, is strengthening Islamic unity among various sects and schools of thought. The event will conclude with the launch of the “Islamic Intellectual Reconciliation Encyclopedia.”
Speaking to Arab Media, Dr. Al-Shaibi stated that the conference is attended by scholars, thinkers, and grand muftis who promote tolerance. Discussions in the sessions include support for the Palestinian cause, and the situations in Syria and Sudan.
The second edition of this international conference, titled “Building Bridges Between Islamic Sects,” is being held under the patronage of Saudi King Salman. Organized by the Muslim World League in Makkah, the event brings together scholars and grand muftis from over 90 countries.
The Muslim World League emphasized that this edition of the conference, themed “Towards Effective Islamic Reconciliation,” represents a significant step in fostering stronger Islamic ties. It aims to advance dialogue and develop a practical program for building unity among different Islamic sects. The conference will establish a framework to address common challenges, promote initiatives that reinforce moderation, and reject sectarianism.
