MLC Teenmaar Mallanna Meets KTR and Akbaruddin Owaisi – Significant Political Development in Telangana

Hyderabad, 17 March – (www.deccanlive.com): A significant political event has taken place in Telangana. MLC Teenmaar Mallanna met with BRS Working President KTR and former minister Harish Rao at the BRS Legislative Party office. During the meeting, Mallanna discussed the BC (Backward Classes) Bill with the BRS leaders. He requested the BRS leaders to support the protest planned in Delhi to pressurize the central government to approve the BC Bill in Parliament.
Mallanna stated that introducing the BC Bill is not enough; it should also be passed in Parliament. He demanded that the Chief Minister organize a protest at Jantar Mantar to push for the Bill’s approval at the central level. Mallanna urged KTR and Harish Rao to support him in holding the government accountable in the Assembly regarding the BC reservation bill.
Mallanna also mentioned that he had met with MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and BJP floor leader Maheshwar Reddy. He stated that leaders from all parties had promised to support the BC Bill. He requested Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to pass the Bill with the support of all parties.
Recently, the Congress Party suspended Teenmaar Mallanna. The Congress disciplinary committee issued a show-cause notice to him for burning the caste census survey report papers. Since he did not respond, he was expelled from the party. Mallanna later expressed anger, accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of targeting him for suspension. He alleged that there was a conspiracy to suppress the BC community and claimed that the caste census report was full of mistakes. There are also reports that Mallanna is planning to start a new party focused on BC issues.
It’s important to note that Mallanna had previously made controversial statements against KCR and KTR during the last BRS government. He accused them of corruption and misgovernance, which even led to his arrest. In this context, his recent meeting with KTR has raised significant political interest.
