Murder for Not Allowing Cheating in Exam Hall, Matric Student Killed in Bihar

During the Matric exams in Sasaram, a student was shot and killed because he did not allow others to copy answers in the exam hall.

Sasaram, Bihar – 21 February – (www.deccanlive.com): In Bihar, a group of students was waiting outside the exam center for the boy who refused to show his answer sheet during the test. As soon as he came out, they fired bullets at him. One student was killed, and another was injured in the hand. The injured student is currently receiving treatment. The Matric exams in Bihar started on February 17 and will continue until February 25, with around 1.7 million students appearing for the exams.

The shooting happened on Thursday evening on GT Road in the Dhoudaand police station area of Rohtas district. The deceased was identified as Amit Kumar, a resident of Shambhu Bigha village in Dehri Mufassil police station area. Another student, Sanjeet Kumar, was seriously injured. Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar confirmed that the police have arrested the accused and are questioning him.

Both the victim and the accused were Matric exam students from St. Anna School. On Wednesday, they had a fight in the exam hall because Amit refused to allow cheating. The boys involved in the shooting were between 15 and 17 years old.

On Thursday evening, around 20-25 students were walking home after the exam. A group of boys, who were waiting in ambush, attacked Amit as soon as he arrived. Amit was shot in the back, while Sanjeet was hit in the hand. Both were taken to Narayan Medical College Hospital, where Amit died, and Sanjeet is still under treatment.

The police are investigating further to take action against the attackers.
