TG Polycet 2025 Notification Released – Exam Date Announced
Hyderabad, 20 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The Telangana Polycet 2025 notification has finally been released. The long wait of students who were eagerly waiting for this announcement has come to an end. The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has officially released detailed information about admissions into Polytechnic courses for the academic year 2025–26.

Application Process and Fee
- The application process for filling seats in Polytechnic colleges across the state started on March 19.
- Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal.
- According to the schedule released by Polycet Convenor Pullayya, applications without any late fee can be submitted until April 19.
- The application fee is:
- ₹250 for SC/ST students
- ₹500 for other categories
- Candidates can also apply with a late fee:
- ₹100 late fee – Until April 21
- ₹300 late fee – Until April 23
Exam Date
- The Polycet 2025 exam will be conducted on May 13, 2025.
Seat Allocation
- Just like the recent rules issued by the government for engineering and other vocational courses, all Polytechnic seats will be allotted to Telangana students.
- Out of the total Convener Quota seats in Polytechnic colleges:
- 85% seats are reserved for local students.
- 15% seats are for non-local quota students.
Local and Non-Local Criteria
- To be considered as a local student, the candidate must have studied for at least four years out of seven years from Class 4 to Class 10 in Telangana.
- Under the non-local quota, children of those who have lived in Telangana for 10 years or children of employees working in government or public sector institutions in Telangana are eligible.
This notification brings clarity to students planning to join Polytechnic courses, providing them with clear guidelines and dates for the admission process.
