Hyderabad, 23 March – (www.deccanlive.com): Due to a weather system over the Bay of Bengal, several parts of Telangana have been experiencing light to moderate rainfall over the past two days. The Hyderabad Weather Department has predicted thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds (40-50 kmph) in some districts on Sunday (March 23).
In Hyderabad, over the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate showers with thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected. The recent rainfall has provided relief from the intense heat in the city. On Saturday, Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 34.6°C and a minimum of 19.1°C, with 48% humidity.

Precautionary Measures:
- Farmers, agricultural workers, and shepherds should avoid standing under trees, poles, and towers during thunderstorms.
- 17 areas recorded over 10 mm rainfall yesterday.
- Heatwave alerts have been issued for six districts today.
