Saudi Arabia: 46 Kg Cocaine Found Hidden in Frozen Chicken Shipment

Jeddah, 12 April (www.deccanlive.com): In Saudi Arabia, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority stopped an attempt to smuggle 46.8 kilograms of cocaine at the Jeddah Port.

The cocaine was hidden inside a shipment of frozen chicken that arrived at the port. During inspection using customs procedures, safety technology, and live scanning devices, the authorities found the drugs inside the refrigeration unit of the shipment.

The Customs Authority said it will continue to strictly check all imports and exports and will stay strong against all smuggling attempts.
