SSC CHSL 2025 Notification Out: 12th Pass Candidates Eligible for 3,131 Government Jobs
Hyderabad, 25 June (www.deccanlive.com): The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. This exam is conducted to recruit for various vacant posts in Central Government departments, ministries, and offices.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone who has passed Intermediate (12th class) from any recognized board is eligible to apply. Even students who studied through Open School are allowed.
Total Vacancies: 3,131 posts
Posts to be filled include:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Data Entry Operator – Grade A
For DEO posts in the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) office, the applicant must have studied Maths in Science stream during Intermediate.
Age Limit (as on Jan 1, 2026):
- Age should be between 18 to 27 years
- Candidates must be born between Jan 2, 1999 and Jan 1, 2008
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Persons with Disabilities): up to 15 years

- Application Start Date: June 23, 2025
- Last Date to Apply Online: July 18, 2025
- Fee Payment Deadline: July 10, 2025
- Correction Window: July 23 and 24, 2025
- Tier 1 Exam Dates: September 8 to 18, 2025
- Tier 2 Exam Dates: February–March 2026
Application Fee:
- ₹100 for General category
- No fee for SC/ST, Women, and PwD candidates
Salary:
- LDC / JSA: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month
- DEO: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month
- DEO Grade-A: ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 per month
