Attempt to Disturb Peace in Aurangzeb’s Name: Abu Asim Azmi

Mumbai, 4 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The Maharashtra Assembly budget session has begun, and on the first day, the opposition started protesting against the government. Today, Abu Asim Azmi also attended the budget session.

Abu Asim Azmi, leader of the Maharashtra Samajwadi Party and Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), said that there is a conspiracy to give a religious angle to political fights. He claimed that an atmosphere is being created against Muslims across the country to spread communalism.

Regarding a controversial statement about Emperor Aurangzeb, Azmi said that during Aurangzeb’s rule, India was called the “Golden Bird.” He stated that Aurangzeb’s empire extended from Burma to Afghanistan and that he was a just ruler who never discriminated. Therefore, Azmi emphasized the importance of studying Aurangzeb’s teachings and history.

Abu Asim Azmi Calls BJP MLA Raja Singh’s Demand a Political Move

Abu Asim Azmi responded to BJP MLA T. Raja Singh’s demand to demolish Aurangzeb’s tomb, calling it a political strategy. He said that spreading hatred in this manner is extremely dangerous. He accused certain groups of creating propaganda against Muslims to create chaos.

Azmi further stated that there is a widespread conspiracy to promote hatred against Muslims. He claimed that some communal forces are trying to disturb the peace in the name of Aurangzeb. He also pointed out that Muslims are facing opposition and injustice everywhere. He urged the government to focus on this issue.
