Qadianis Meet Central Minister Kiren Rijiju – New Conspiracy Against Muslims? Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Organization Expresses Concerns

Hyderabad, 16 April (www.deccanlive.com): Senior scholars from the Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nubuwwat of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have raised serious concerns after members of the Ahmadiyya community (also known as Qadianis) met with Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju. The scholars believe this meeting is part of a new conspiracy against the Muslim community in India.

The scholars, including Maulana Shah Jamal-ur-Rahman, Mufti Ghiyasuddin Rahmani, Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, and others, said that Waqf (Islamic endowments) is a matter strictly related to Islamic belief. They stated that Ahmadis, who are considered non-Muslim by all major Islamic scholars and groups, have no right to speak or give opinions on such purely Islamic matters.

They accused the government of deliberately involving the Ahmadiyya group in Muslim religious issues to create confusion and mislead the Muslim community. They said that the government knows very well that the Qadiani group is not accepted by the Muslim community, yet it is giving them space to represent Muslims in Waqf matters.

The scholars questioned whether the Minister of Minority Affairs would ever allow a non-Hindu group to speak on Sanatan Hindu religious matters, or a non-Christian or non-Sikh group to represent Christians or Sikhs. They believe that by allowing Ahmadis to interfere in Waqf affairs, the government is trying to take over Muslim Waqf properties through legal changes.

According to the new Waqf law, Ahmadis could be allowed to become caretakers of Sunni mosques and be buried in Sunni Muslim graveyards. This is why the Muslim community is strongly opposing the new law.
