Hyderabad: A Son Kills His Father Just for Money – Shocking Incident

Hyderabad, 3 July – (www.deccanlive.com): In recent times, some cruel sons are killing their own parents who raised them with love and care, just for money. These parents gave them everything they needed and protected them like their own eyes. But unfortunately, the same children are turning against them without any sympathy, especially due to addictions like alcohol and online betting.
In a shocking incident, a son killed his own father for money. A man named Hanumanth Naik from Wanaparthy district was living in Gachibowli, Hyderabad with his family. He urgently needed money, so he decided to sell his ancestral land in his village for ₹6 lakhs. After selling the land, he returned to Hyderabad and hid the cash in his house.
His son Ravinder, who was addicted to online betting, saw where the money was hidden. He secretly took ₹2.5 lakhs from the cash and lost all of it in online betting. Later, when Hanumanth noticed the missing money, he asked Ravinder about it. Ravinder lied and said he gave it to a friend and would get it back soon.
Every time the father asked about the money, Ravinder repeated the same excuse. Finally, the father became angry and kept questioning him. Ravinder, instead of correcting himself, decided to murder his own father to stop the questioning.
On Tuesday afternoon, Ravinder told his father that his friend was going to return the money and took him to a deserted place. There, he killed his father by slitting his throat with a knife he brought with him. After killing him, Ravinder called his brother-in-law and pretended that his father had committed suicide.
When the family members saw the body, they suspected foul play. Hanumanth’s brother filed a police complaint at the Gachibowli Police Station.
Police quickly arrived at the scene, arrested Ravinder, and sent the body for post-mortem. They confirmed that the main reason behind the murder was Ravinder’s addiction to online betting. A case has been registered and further investigation is ongoing.
