Telangana: Wife Murders Husband with Lover, Tries to Show It as Road Accident
Atmakur, 15 July – (www.deccanlive.com): In a shocking crime case from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana, a woman was arrested for plotting her husband’s murder with the help of her lover. The incident was made to look like a road accident, but the truth came out during the police investigation.
According to DCP Akshansh Yadav, the victim Swamy (38), a resident of Pallela village in Atmakur Mandal, was killed recently. His wife Swathi, along with her lover Sai Kumar and her brother Mahesh, planned and carried out the murder. While Swamy was riding a bike, they hit him with a car and tried to show it as a regular road accident.
However, when police questioned Swathi, they discovered the truth. She confessed to being in a relationship with Sai Kumar and to planning the murder. The police have now arrested Swathi, Sai Kumar, and Mahesh. One more accused, Ramalingaswamy, is still on the run and a search is ongoing.
A case has been registered under murder charges along with SC/ST Atrocities Act sections. The police also seized three mobile phones and a bike from the accused.
