105 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours by Israeli Attacks

Gaza, 9 July – (www.deccanlive.com): In the last 24 hours, at least 105 Palestinians have been killed and 530 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Among the dead were seven people who were seeking aid.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have met twice in the past day to discuss a ceasefire, but no agreement has been reached so far.

In one of the most tragic updates, Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency reported on Wednesday that at least 20 people, including 6 children, were killed in overnight Israeli airstrikes.

According to Al Jazeera, the attacks began early in the morning and continued across several areas:

  • In Shati Camp, 8 people were killed in a single airstrike.
  • In Deir al-Balah, a house bombing killed 2 people.
  • In Khan Younis, a drone attack on tents of displaced people killed 2 more.

Mahmoud Basal, a spokesperson from Gaza’s Civil Defense, said the first airstrike happened shortly after midnight in Khan Younis, followed by another in a camp in northern Gaza.

Deaths in Gaza are increasing every day. People are struggling to get aid, protection, and medical care. The humanitarian situation is becoming more dangerous by the hour.
