Make All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s Protest Successful: Ameer-e-Shariat

Patna, 14 March – (www.deccanlive.com): Maulana Syed Ahmed Wali Faisal Rahmani, Ameer-e-Shariat of Imarat Shariah (Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand), stated that the central government is trying to take control of Waqf properties through the proposed Waqf Act and plans to remove Muslims from their endowed assets.

He emphasized that this bill not only restricts Muslims’ property rights but also aims to eliminate key resources for their welfare, education, business, and social development. According to him, the bill is designed to deprive Muslims of their right to establish Waqf, which is a clear violation of constitutional rights.

Furthermore, the bill interferes with Islamic laws by attempting to redefine key religious terms such as “Waqf,” “Waqif,” “Mutawalli,” and “Mansha,” which he considers a form of cultural invasion by the government. He warned that this bill is a direct attack on the religious, educational, social, and economic stability of Muslims, as Waqf properties have always played a crucial role in the community’s welfare and progress.

If the government succeeds in passing this law, it will not only weaken the financial independence of Muslims but also pave the way for illegal occupation of mosques, madrasas, schools, graveyards, colleges, and khanqahs built on Waqf land.

To oppose this proposed bill, a large and peaceful protest is being organized under the leadership of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board on March 17 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. This protest is a crucial need of the time.

Ameer-e-Shariat has strongly supported this protest and urged all religious and social groups to participate in large numbers.

He emphasized that peaceful protest is a constitutional right in a democratic system, and it is essential for Muslims to raise a strong voice against this bill by gathering in Delhi. He also stated that even if the bill gets passed in both houses of Parliament, the struggle will continue with unity and determination until it is withdrawn.

May Allah be our supporter and protector.
