Bandi Sanjay Questions CM Revanth Reddy: Why Not Demolish Akbaruddin’s College? Why No Action on KCR’s Scams?

Medipally, 8 July – (www.deccanlive.com): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay has raised serious questions to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He asked why the government is not taking action on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi’s college, and why there is no action against KCR’s family, who are accused in several scams.
Speaking to the media in Medipally and Bheemaram Mandals of Jagtial district, Sanjay questioned the state government’s silence and double standards.
Why Is Akbaruddin’s College Protected?
Bandi Sanjay said that the HYDRA Commissioner had posted on X (Twitter) that they won’t touch Akbaruddin Owaisi’s college. He demanded that the CM must clarify:
- Why can’t the college be touched?
- Is this the government’s official decision or a personal decision by the officer?
He compared it with how poor people’s huts near Musii River were demolished by GHMC officers, but only a notice was given last year to Owaisi’s college, and even now no action has been taken. He asked why the government is not asking the college to be shifted.
Why No Arrests in Big Scams?
Bandi Sanjay also questioned why KCR’s family has not been arrested in major corruption cases like:
- Kaleshwaram Project scam
- Formula-E racing event scam
- Phone tapping case
He said the Congress government must answer the people about its inaction.
Telangana Is Not BRS’s Personal Property
Sanjay strongly said that Telangana is not private property of BRS or KTR. He warned that if leaders speak badly about people, there will be a public backlash.
He also said, “Before Telangana was formed, what was your status? Now, is it not true that KCR’s family has earned crores and doing business in Dubai and Muscat?”
Responding to allegations about his own wealth, Sanjay said, “People say I have property worth crores. The truth is, I just bought a small house recently.” He challenged KCR to come forward and publicly declare his wealth.
He also warned that the BJP will not tolerate any attacks on media offices.
