Prisoner Shot Dead in Patna Private Hospital – CCTV Shows 5 Gunmen Firing at Chandan Mishra

Patna, 17 July – (www.deccanlivec.om): A shocking incident took place inside Paras Hospital in Patna, where five armed shooters entered the hospital and opened fire at a man named Chandan Mishra, who was admitted for treatment. The CCTV footage of the shootout has now surfaced, revealing the entire sequence of events.

In the video, five criminals are seen casually walking inside the hospital towards Chandan Mishra’s ward. As they approach the ward, each one pulls out a weapon. They then enter the room and fire multiple shots at Chandan Mishra, killing him on the spot.

After the shooting, four shooters are seen running towards the staircase, while one calmly walks away. One of the shooters’ faces is clearly visible in the footage. The entire incident happened within seconds, and all of them escaped quickly. Surprisingly, no hospital security or staff can be seen anywhere near during the incident.

Chandan Mishra’s two friends were also present at the time. One of them was injured while trying to escape into the bathroom.

Following the murder, Chandan’s family created a scene at the hospital, blaming both the police and the hospital management for negligence. The incident has raised serious questions about the law and order situation in Patna, especially as this happened in a busy area and inside a well-known hospital.

Police revealed that Chandan Mishra was a convicted criminal, originally from Buxar district, and was serving a life sentence. He was currently out on parole and had been admitted to Paras Hospital for treatment. Reports say he was shot multiple times.

Police suspect that the killing could be a result of a gang rivalry. Chandan had around 25 criminal cases registered against him, including murder charges like that of lime trader Rajendra Kumar. Police believe his enemies may have plotted this attack.

It is suspected that the shooters escaped towards Buxar after the murder. Political leaders have also started reacting strongly to the incident, questioning the government on the security situation in Bihar.
