Khammam: SI Rana Pratap’s Wife Dies by Suicide – What Happened?

Khammam, 30 June – (www.deccanlive.com): A tragic and suspicious death has caused shock in Khammam district, where the wife of a police Sub-Inspector (SI) reportedly died by suicide. Her family members allege that harassment was the reason behind her death.

According to reports, Rajeswari, the wife of SI Rana Pratap, who works with the Khammam GRP (Government Railway Police), died under suspicious circumstances.

Four days ago, Rajeswari allegedly drank pesticide at her native place Julurupadu, in an attempt to take her own life. Her family members quickly rushed her to the hospital, where she was under treatment. However, on Monday, she passed away while receiving medical care.

Her body was sent for postmortem examination at the local government hospital. Her relatives are strongly alleging that domestic harassment and mental torture led her to take this extreme step.
