Doctor Murdered by Wife and Her Lover in Telangana’s Warangal

Warangal, 1 March – (www.deccanlive.com): In Warangal, Telangana, a shocking incident occurred where a doctor was murdered by his wife with the help of her lover. Recently, the doctor survived a murder attempt, which was later revealed to be planned by his own wife and her partner. The victim, Dr. Sumanth Reddy, who was critically injured, passed away on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital in Warangal.

According to reports, Dr. Sumanth Reddy, a resident of Hunter Road, Warangal, married Flora Mary in 2016 after a love marriage. In 2018, they moved to Sangareddy to manage his relatives’ educational institutions.

During this time, Flora started working as a school teacher, while Sumanth Reddy took a job as a contract medical officer at a government hospital. While going to the gym, Flora met a trainer named Samuel, and over time, they developed an illicit relationship.

When Dr. Sumanth Reddy discovered their affair, it led to frequent fights between the couple. Eventually, they moved back to Warangal. In 2019, Flora secured a job as a lecturer at a college in Jangaon district.

Despite multiple warnings, Flora’s behavior did not change. In her husband’s absence, she invited her lover, Samuel, to their home, leading to frequent fights. Eventually, Flora and Samuel planned to get rid of Dr. Sumanth Reddy.

To execute their plan, Flora transferred ₹1 lakh to Samuel online. Out of this, ₹50,000 was given to Raj Kumar, a police constable in Cyberabad, who was promised a new house if he killed the doctor.

On February 20th night, Flora and Samuel rode a motorcycle to Warangal, wearing helmets to hide their identities. When Dr. Sumanth Reddy was returning home in his car, they attacked him with an iron rod on Batapally Road. Hearing the noise, the doctor stepped out of his car, but the attackers struck him multiple times on the head before escaping, assuming he was dead.

Severely injured, Dr. Sumanth Reddy was rushed to MGM Hospital by local residents and later transferred to Hyderabad. However, due to his critical condition, he was brought back to Warangal, where he later died.

During the investigation, police analyzed CCTV footage and identified the suspects. When Flora, Samuel, and Raj Kumar went to sell household jewelry, the police arrested them. The investigation confirmed that the doctor’s wife and her lover were behind the murder plot.
