Bhopal, 24 February – (www.deccanlive.com): Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized today that three sectors—Textile, Tourism, and Technology—will play a major role in shaping India’s developed future.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the two-day Global Investors Summit-25 in the capital city of Bhopal.

The event was attended by Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, prominent industrialists from India and abroad, and ambassadors from various countries.

The Prime Minister stated that these three sectors will be crucial for India’s progress.

India’s textile sector provides employment to millions of people.

Madhya Pradesh, in a way, is India’s “Cotton Capital,” as nearly 25% of India’s organic cotton supply comes from this state.

PM Modi stated that Madhya Pradesh is the largest producer of mulberry silk in India. The state’s famous Chanderi and Maheshwari fabrics are globally recognized. Investing in these industries can give investors international recognition.

The government is promoting medical textiles and geo-textiles through a national mission. Out of seven major textile parks, one is being built in Madhya Pradesh.

He also mentioned that India is expanding its tourism sector. Madhya Pradesh’s tourism campaign, “MP Ajab Hai, Sabse Ghazab Hai”, highlights the state’s unique attractions.

Tribal tourism around the Narmada River has grown, and the state is home to many national parks. There are also investment opportunities in health and wellness tourism.

The government is encouraging public-private partnerships in these sectors.

PM Modi stated that for the first time in history, the entire world is highly optimistic about India. Experts, global institutions, and nations all have high expectations from India.

Recent international comments are boosting investor confidence in India. The World Bank has predicted that India will be the fastest-growing economy in the coming years.

A global climate organization praised India, stating that while some countries only make promises, India delivers real results.

PM Modi highlighted that these examples reflect global trust in India. This confidence is also strengthening every Indian state and is visible in this Global Investors Summit.
