JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Important Guidelines and Dress Code Restrictions

Hyderabad, 27 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exams are set to begin soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made all necessary arrangements, and the exams will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. Each exam day will have two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
On April 8, the exam will take place only in the morning shift, while on April 9, Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The city intimation slips and admit cards have already been released. Candidates must follow strict rules and dress code guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process.
Exam Guidelines for JEE Candidates:
✔ Arrive Early: Candidates should reach the exam center at least one hour before the exam.
✔ Entry Timings:
- Morning Shift: Entry allowed between 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM; gates close at 8:30 AM.
- Afternoon Shift: Entry allowed between 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM; gates close at 2:30 PM.
- Latecomers will not be allowed inside after the gate closes.
✔ Prohibited Items:
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Candidates should carry a valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Ration Card, etc.).
- Only two passport-size photos, a transparent pen, and the admit card are allowed.
- For B.Arch candidates, pencil, scale, eraser, and geometry box are permitted.
Dress Code Restrictions:
❌ No scarves, mufflers, stoles, shawls, caps, or colored sunglasses.
❌ No clothes with pockets, loose clothing only.
❌ No metallic designs on clothing.
❌ No boots or thick-soled footwear.
❌ No metal accessories or jewelry (rings, bangles, bracelets).
Candidates should strictly follow these rules to avoid any issues on exam day.
