Israeli Attacks Kill 591 Palestinians in Gaza in 72 Hours, Over 1,000 Injured
Gaza, 21 March – (PIC): The Gaza government media office has confirmed that in the past 72 hours, Israeli aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 591 Palestinians.
According to a press release received by the Palestinian Information Center, the Israeli occupation forces have carried out multiple mass killings in Gaza since Tuesday morning. Civilians’ homes have been targeted directly and without warning, leading to 591 deaths and 1,042 injuries.
The media office also reported that an unknown number of victims remain trapped under rubble. Due to fuel shortages and damaged civil defense equipment, rescue teams have been unable to retrieve them.
The latest figures reveal that more than 70% of the victims are children, women, and elderly individuals, confirming that the Israeli forces continue their systematic genocide by deliberately targeting civilians.
The Gaza government media office has strongly condemned the brutal Israeli aggression, stating that this genocide is being carried out with U.S. support and shameful international silence.
The statement denounced the continuous massacre of unarmed civilians by the occupation forces and urged the international community and human rights organizations to condemn these crimes and take immediate action to stop them.
It further held Israel and the U.S. administration fully responsible for the ongoing killings and ethnic cleansing of innocent people. The media office emphasized that this aggression will not intimidate or break the resilience of the Palestinian people.
The statement called on the international community, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to take urgent action to stop this massacre and to pressure the occupying state to immediately open border crossings for humanitarian aid.
