BJP High Command Accepts Raja Singh’s Resignation

New Delhi, 11 July – (www.deccanlive.com): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially accepted the resignation of Telangana MLA Raja Singh. BJP’s National General Secretary Arun Singh informed Raja Singh about this through an official letter.
In the letter, Arun Singh stated that the points mentioned in Raja Singh’s resignation letter go against the party’s policies and principles. He also mentioned that the issues raised by Raja Singh were not relevant, and the resignation has been accepted on the suggestion of BJP national president J.P. Nadda.
It is reported that Raja Singh is currently on the Amarnath Yatra.
Raja Singh, who is the MLA from Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad, had resigned from BJP on June 30, opposing the appointment of G. Ramchander Rao as the new BJP Telangana president. Raja Singh had earlier said he was ready to explain his reasons if the party high command asked him.
However, the party leadership has accepted his resignation without considering his request for a clarification, which has become a notable point in this political development.
