180,000 Palestinians Pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Laylat al-Qadr Despite Israeli Restrictions

Occupied Jerusalem, 27 March – (PIC): Despite severe restrictions imposed by Israeli forces, nearly 180,000 Palestinians gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday night to perform Isha and Taraweeh prayers on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that thousands of worshippers defied the Israeli-imposed restrictions to pray inside the holy mosque. Israeli forces heavily deployed around Al-Aqsa, blocking roads and stopping Palestinians at checkpoints for identity verification.
Many young Palestinians were prevented from entering the mosque, and restrictions were tightened around Al-Aqsa and its surroundings. Palestinians from the occupied West Bank and northern Palestine were also barred from reaching the holy site. Despite these restrictions, worshippers managed to reach Al-Aqsa to offer their prayers.
