Brutal US Military Aggression in Yemen Leaves Several Martyred and Injured

Sana, 16 March – (PIC): On Saturday evening, American and British warplanes attacked the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, killing nine civilians and injuring at least nine others.
The Ministry of Health reported that the airstrikes targeted residential areas, leaving many of the injured in critical condition. The attacks caused severe damage to several buildings in the Sha’oub district, north of Sana’a.
The Ministry condemned the strikes, calling them a serious war crime. Civil defense teams are still working in the affected areas to assist those impacted by the attack.
The bombing in Yemen occurred shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered a “decisive and powerful military operation” against Yemen.
An unnamed official revealed that a week ago, Trump had instructed the Pentagon to prepare an attack on Yemen.
According to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense’s official website, American and Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on Sana’a, causing loud explosions across the capital.
Ansar Allah spokesman Mohammed Abdul-Salam condemned the attacks, calling them “an open act of aggression against a sovereign nation.” He also accused the U.S. of encouraging Israel to continue its siege on Gaza.
Abdul-Salam rejected Trump’s claims about threats to international navigation in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, calling them false and misleading. He insisted that Yemen’s naval blockade in support of Gaza would continue until humanitarian aid reached the people of Gaza.
