“Gaza is More Beautiful in Ramadan” Campaign Launched in Rafah

Gaza, 1 March – (PIC): On Friday morning, the Rafah Municipality, in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government, launched the “Gaza is More Beautiful in Ramadan” campaign. This initiative is part of the preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
The campaign includes cleaning streets, removing debris and waste, filling potholes, painting walls, and decorating the city for Ramadan. Despite the challenges facing Gaza, the campaign reflects hope and resilience in Rafah.
Muhannad Muammar, Director of the Health and Environment Department in Rafah Municipality, emphasized that this campaign is being carried out in difficult conditions. He stated that the municipality aims to send a message of hope and organization, reflecting the strong will of the people of Gaza to live with dignity.



Muhannad Muammar stated, “We want Rafah to be a symbol of resilience and strength, showing the world that our city is not broken. Instead, it will be rebuilt by its people and those who love it.” He emphasized that every small effort makes a big difference in improving the environment and promoting a culture of social responsibility.
The campaign saw active participation from neighborhood committees, civil society organizations, volunteer teams, and youth councils, all working together to carry out various activities.
Meanwhile, the Rafah Municipality urged all residents to keep the streets clean and contribute to these voluntary efforts, which aim to improve the quality of life in the city.
