Important Guidelines for Telangana Intermediate Students: Items Banned in Exam Centers

Hyderabad, 4 March – (www.deccanlive.com): The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has announced a 5-minute grace period for students arriving late to exam centers. The Intermediate annual exams will be held from March 5 to March 25, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students must reach the exam centers by 8:45 AM.
Late students will be given a 5-minute grace period, removing the previous one-minute late rule. However, strict rules are in place, and students might face difficulties entering the exam centers if they arrive too late.
Items Banned in Exam Centers
Students are strictly prohibited from carrying electronic devices, including:
- Mobile Phones
- Smartwatches & Regular Watches
Students must submit these devices in a designated room at the exam center.
Exam Guidelines & Facilities
- A bell will ring every 30 minutes during the exam.
- Students who need assistance will be provided scribes (writers) under the Chief Superintendent’s supervision.
- Facilities like transportation, drinking water, and medical aid will be available at all exam centers.
Exam Centers & Monitoring
- 9,96,097 students will take the exams across 1,532 centers in Telangana.
- 1,532 officials, including Chief Superintendents, Departmental Officers, Invigilators, Flying Squads, and Sitting Squads, will ensure fair and peaceful exams.
- CCTV cameras are installed in all centers to prevent cheating.
- A Command Control Center with 33 large screens will monitor the exam process.
