Two Close Friends from Ramagundam Die in Car Accident – Four Friends Lost in Four Months

Sultanabad, Telangana – 5 April (www.deccanlive.com): A heartbreaking story of two childhood friends has deeply saddened everyone. These friends were always together in life—and even in death. The tragic accident happened late Thursday night on Rajiv Rahadari, where Mohammed Ghouse (34) and Sheikh Imran (28) lost their lives.

According to police and family, Mohammed Ghouse, a gym trainer at NTPC Ramagundam, was preparing to go to Saudi Arabia for a job. On Thursday morning, he left for Hyderabad with his close friend Sheikh Imran, who was also driving the car, to complete visa-related work.

After finishing their work, they started their return journey at night and reached Sultanabad early Friday morning. Their car crashed into a stationary lorry on Rajiv Rahadari. Imran died on the spot due to serious injuries, and Ghouse died on the way to the hospital.

Ghouse was driving, and Imran was in the passenger seat. Even though the airbags opened, their lives could not be saved. The car was completely destroyed in the crash.
Ghouse is survived by his wife, a 4-year-old daughter, and a 1.5-year-old son. Sheikh Imran was unmarried.

“Abba, My Saudi Visa Work Is Done” – His Final Call

Just before the accident, Ghouse had called his father, Pasha, and happily said,
“Abba, the visa process is complete. I will get my visa in 4 or 5 days.”
But just a few hours later, he was gone forever. Ghouse used to run a small business locally, but after facing losses, he planned to work in Saudi Arabia.

Four Friends, Four Months, Four Tragedies

Ghouse, Imran, Sheikh Afsaruddin, and Syed Imran were close childhood friends. But tragedy struck one by one:

  • Syed Imran drowned in the Godavari River during an outing on October 8, last year.
  • Sheikh Afsaruddin died in a bike accident on December 24 while traveling from Ramagundam to Hyderabad.
  • And now, a few months later, Ghouse and Imran have also died in a car crash.

These back-to-back tragedies have left their families in deep sorrow.

Funeral

On Friday (April 4), funeral prayers for Ghouse and Imran were held in Ramagundam. Local MLA Makineni Singh Thakur also attended and expressed his condolences to the grieving families.
