Telangana Inter Students Can Reschedule Practical Exams

Hyderabad, 7 February – (Dr. Syed Habeeb Imam Quadri): The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced that students who missed the ongoing practical exams can request rescheduling. However, they must provide a valid and genuine reason for their absence.

This initiative allows students to reschedule their practical exams if they face personal emergencies, health issues, or other valid circumstances, ensuring they do not miss their exams.

The practical exams are being conducted in four phases. The first phase has already been completed on Friday. The second phase will be held from February 8 to 12, the third from February 13 to 17, and the final phase from February 18 to 22.

To reschedule, students need to submit an application to their district examination committee. Each request will be reviewed individually, and students will be assigned a new exam date within the four phases. However, requests will not be accepted if a student misses the exam during the last phase.

Secretary of Telangana Board of Intermediate Education, S. Krishna Aditya, stated, “We are offering students the opportunity to reschedule their practical exams, provided they have valid reasons. Our goal is to ensure that students do not miss these important exams. District examination committees are authorized to handle these requests on a case-by-case basis.”

The board has already received requests for rescheduling due to reasons like attending the Maha Kumbh festival, accidents, and NCC-B certificate exams.

Meanwhile, the first phase of the practical exams is being conducted smoothly at 838 centers under CCTV surveillance, monitored through a command control center established at the board’s office.

All government and private junior colleges have installed cameras, which will be moved to the chief superintendent’s rooms during the theory exams. Krishna Aditya added that this initiative aims to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process.
