Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC): Women Secure Top Ranks as Group-1 General Rankings Released
Hyderabad, 30 March – (www.deccanlive.com): Women have secured top positions in the Telangana Group-1 General Rankings. After addressing objections and completing the re-evaluation of papers, the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) released the final General Ranking List. The Group-1 Mains exam, conducted for 563 posts, took place in October last year. On April 6, the provisional marks were announced, followed by the official rankings released by TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham on Sunday, coinciding with the Ugadi festival.
Women Dominate the Top Ranks
A female candidate from Multi-Zone 2 secured the top rank, scoring 550 out of 900 marks. While two male candidates followed in the second and third positions, women dominated the top 10 list, with six female candidates securing places. Notably, six candidates scored above 525 marks, and 52 candidates scored over 500 marks.
TGPSC will invite selected candidates for certificate verification. The commission will notify them individually via messages and publish the list on the official website. After the verification process, the final list of candidates who secured jobs will be released.
Future Recruitment Plans
From April 1, TGPSC aims to conduct exams annually based on vacancies in various government departments. The commission plans to complete the recruitment process within the same financial year as soon as the government provides vacancy details.
