Tragic End to a Fun Trip: Young Woman Doctor Drowns in Tungabhadra River (Video)

Hyderabad, 20 February – (www.deccanlive.com): A fun recreational trip turned into a tragic incident when a young female doctor drowned in the Tungabhadra River. The 27-year-old doctor, Ananya Mohan Rao, from Hyderabad, was on a sightseeing trip with her friends in Karnataka. Unfortunately, she lost her life while swimming in the river. The heartbreaking incident occurred in the Koppal district of Karnataka.
Dr. Ananya, who was living in Hyderabad, had traveled with her friends to explore various beautiful locations in Karnataka. On Tuesday night, they stayed at a guest house in the village of Sanapur. On Wednesday afternoon, they arrived at the banks of the Tungabhadra River, where she decided to swim.
Dr. Ananya jumped into the river from a rock about 25 feet high and tried to swim, but due to the fast current, she lost control and was swept away. Her friends tried desperately to save her but were unsuccessful. The police and local authorities were immediately notified.
Rescue teams, including divers and the fire brigade, began searching for Ananya, but unfortunately, they could not find her until evening. On Thursday morning, her body was found in the river. Reports say that Dr. Ananya was working at VKC Hospital in Hyderabad.
A video of the incident is also going viral on social media, showing her jumping into the river. This tragic event has left her family and friends in deep shock.
