Hamas Fighters Attack Israeli Forces Using Tunnels, Destroy 5 Military Vehicles in Khan Younis

Khan Younis, 18 April (www.deccanlive.com): The military wing of Hamas, known as Al-Qassam Brigades, announced on Friday that their fighters carried out attacks against the Israeli occupation army in the south of Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza. They said five Israeli military vehicles were targeted and destroyed.

In a statement, Al-Qassam Brigades said that after returning from the battlefield, their fighters planted and exploded three powerful bombs against two Israeli D9 military bulldozers in the area of Qizan al-Najjar in southern Khan Younis.

Another report said that the fighters had set a booby trap for an Israeli military unit. When the soldiers entered the area, the fighters detonated several explosive devices inside a tunnel, killing and injuring several Israeli soldiers. This happened on Wednesday afternoon in the same Qizan al-Najjar area.

On Thursday, the fighters also attacked three Israeli D9 bulldozers using Yasin-105 shells, an explosive device called Shawaz, and a barrel bomb.
