Israeli Forces Kill Elderly Woman and Young Man in Jenin

Jenin, 11 March – (PIC): On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a young man and an elderly woman in Jenin, a city in the northern West Bank. Another person was injured in the attack.

According to the Red Crescent Society, a 60-year-old woman was shot and killed by Israeli forces at the Jalama checkpoint in Jenin.

In another incident, Israeli forces shot and killed a young man, Ismail Amjad Abu Ghali, in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin. His body was taken by the Israeli forces.

The Red Crescent Society also reported that Israeli troops blocked their medical teams from evacuating an injured person from the same area.

Additionally, Israeli forces surrounded a house in Jenin’s eastern neighborhood and fired projectiles at it. They also besieged a building in the “Khallet Al-Souha” area near Jenin camp and ordered residents to evacuate via loudspeakers.

In the western part of Jenin, Israeli forces surrounded the “Lavender” hall on Haifa Road and ordered several young men to leave the premises.

On Monday night, the Red Crescent Society provided emergency medical assistance to four injured people in Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem. It also treated a young man in Azzun, Qalqilya, who was severely beaten by Israeli forces.
